Meditations on Structures of Thought
Wire, costumes, charcoal on paper, garden

Based on the classic studio portrait where one is placed in an imagined landscape, C-K expose the surrounding area, placing the imagined landscape within the ‘real’ colonial garden in India while dressing as nineteenth C. westerners, Meditations On Structures of Thought is visual play between sculpture, costume and drawing that articulates ideas of history and one’s relation to it, and questions the mental structures we create for ourselves.
